OMA on Dolginovskiy trakt: a large-scale DIY hypermarket with equipment from 4RM

A new DIY format construction hypermarket “OMA” was opened in Minsk at 188 Dolginovsky Trakt.

The hypermarket with the area of more than 10 000 m² became an example of a modern approach to the organization of retail space, in which the company 4RM - a Belarusian manufacturer of retail equipment - took part.

Solutions

To equip the hypermarket, the 4RM team implemented a comprehensive solution including warehouse and retail shelving systems, expositors, display stands and specialized elements for different product categories.

Shelving with integration

Metal shelving systems are installed in the sales area, allowing to efficiently place both small fasteners and consumables, and large construction goods - tiles, laminate, plumbing, power tools. The equipment is made of cold-rolled steel 1.5-2.5 mm thick and coated with powder polymer composition ensuring durability and aesthetic appearance.

Wall shelving for warehouses

Along the perimeter of the hall, wall-mounted structures with traverses and integrated sales elements are placed. They are equipped with shelves of different depths, brackets, hanging baskets, perforations and economy panels, and also have several levels of traverses for placing goods on pallets. Such a solution allows you to simultaneously store inventory and demonstrate products: tiles, wallpaper, doors, plumbing fixtures, fixtures and more.

Island shelving

The central part of the hypermarket is organized with the help of island shelving, complete with metal shelves, baskets and hooks. They are designed for displaying painting goods and power tools, consumables (drills, disks, sanding materials), household and car chemicals.

Specialized areas

For lighting products, mesh equipment with hangers for chandeliers and lamps is realized. Also provided:

• Perforated panels with hooks for small tools
• Mesh baskets for sealants and adhesives
• Front hangers for brushes, rollers, cable ties
• Rolling holders for sandpaper
• Exhibition stands with simulated operating conditions
• Pallet areas for large packaging
• Exposers for doors, tiles and laminates
