4RM Systems took part in setting up a new format Makro Local store in Uzbekistan.

MAKRO is one of the largest retail chains present on the Uzbek market for more than 10 years. This retail chain has stores of different formats such as Makro Supermarket, Makro Express, Makro Supermarket 24h.

Marko Local combines the format of a convenience store with a new concept of neighborhood positioning. Shoppers interact with the staff and have the opportunity to choose products as in a market. The meat, cheese and tandoor areas feature a counter area. Also in the Local format there is a cafe area with hot drinks and ready-to-eat food.

In this project 4RM Systems has installed trading equipment for effective arrangement of food zones. Installed wall shelving (wall shelving, island shelving, end shelving, promotional shelving, bread shelving) allow to effectively demonstrate food and non-food products, contribute to the rational use of the store area. Promotional shelving with branded engraving of the retail chain name became an accent solution in the interior of the store.

All shelving has a modular design, which allows you to use different configurations in the arrangement of retail furniture. They are equipped with additional accessories - this makes it possible to customize shelving for different product zones.

For the checkout area of Makro Local, 4RM installed a checkout line with a pronounced impulse purchase zone. This solution has proven itself for convenience stores and retail areas in gas stations. The checkout lines are integrated with a cashier's workstation, behind-the-counter display cases and a variety of accessories that make for a comfortable and efficient customer service.

The modular design allows for a variety of configurations:

• counters
• refrigerated showcases
• hot dog modules
• cashier's workplace
• multifunctional shelving in the back line.

All these configurations are placed in one line and have a modular design.  Such a solution provides excellent visibility of goods, contributes to increased sales and profitability in the store.
