Rossmann, Crescent Mall, Azerbaijan

Rossmann is an international franchise that offers a wide range of skincare, cosmetics and health products throughout Europe and in Asian countries. One of the main challenges when opening a new facility for such a large and multinational company is to keep the overall concept in shop design while ensuring maximum functionality of the equipment.

This challenge was successfully solved in Azerbaijan by 4RM, a Belarusian manufacturer of retail equipment, and Veyseloglu retail holding. The companies have been co-operating since 2017 and have already become key partners. At the moment Veyseloglu has more than 1500 objects, and 90% of them use 4RM Systems equipment. These include retail shelving, checkouts, high-rise pallet storage shelving, and electronic storage cameras.

For the Rossmann brand shop, which opened in Baku's newest shopping centre, Crescent Mall, the 4RM team offered classic shelving, supplemented by storage areas providing additional stock of goods right in the sales area. Wall shelving and island shelving are equipped with various accessories, depending on the type of products placed - from wire baskets to hooks. Promotional frames and canopies above the shelving provide easy navigation in the shop.

To emphasise the corporate style of the Rossmann chain, standard shelving was used together with branded equipment of cosmetic lines. Due to their modularity and versatility, 4RM shelving can be combined with any other line of equipment. And, in this case, they are actually integrated into the branded shelving.

In this project, 4RM offered Mega express checkouts that fit perfectly into a small checkout area and are combined with compact checkout area shelving for impulse items. The modular design of the checkouts provides versatility of placement (left/right) and easy assembly right on site. For the reliable and proven Mega range, a wide variety of ergonomic accessories have been developed to make shopping faster and more comfortable.

Utilising proven models and taking into account the latest retail trends, the 4RM team has been able to maintain the traditional Rossmann style and ensure the most efficient use of the retail space.
