Rotary workstation

The limited floor space of convenience stores often prevents the use of full self-service checkouts. Modern convenience stores are looking for compact universal solutions to meet the needs of this dynamically developing format.

For one of 4RM's partners in the Caucasus region, we proposed just such a solution, which is already being tested in stores. 

The checkout counter with a rotary workstation is a 4RM development designed to operate both in the traditional mode with a salesperson and in the self-service checkout format. Its use allows to optimize the cashier's work time while maintaining the normal functioning of the sales area. In the absence of a cashier, the linear cash desk works in the self-service mode. This ensures the operation of all cash desks of the retail facility at any time, regardless of staff load. The solution can be either part of a cash register line or integrated into an existing 4RM cash box, thanks to its modularity and compatibility.

At the request of our partner, the swivel workstation was further developed and equipped with a pin pad holder. The solution is already proving itself in practice and is receiving positive feedback from both cashiers and customers!
